- Promote and disseminate certified techniques and methods.
- Conduct research and analysis on the development and outcomes of various methods and practices of watershed management, and promote them at the local, regional, and national levels.
- Develop and promote various techniques of land conservation and watershed management.
- Prepare strategic plans for watershed management based on practical testing.
- Provide technical support for the development of policies, strategies, and methods related to environmental conservation and watershed management at the federal, provincial, and local levels.
- Implement programs for the capacity development of technical staff at the federal, provincial, and local levels.
- Conduct various types of research, studies, teaching, and development programs related to land conservation and watershed management.
- Organize discussions, interactions, and workshops with stakeholders involved in environmental conservation and watershed management at the national and regional levels.
- Coordinate and collaborate with national and international universities and research institutions on climate change and other environmental issues, as well as various aspects of watershed management, and conduct joint research, cooperation, and training programs.
